Keep Good Going! Celebrating Good!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of New York Life for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

You never know what challenges you are going to face in life. Sometimes life can take an unexpected turn and everything changes from that point on. It's not always so much about the challenges, but more about how you handle them.

We have 4 kids. We have Dylan and Abbie and then SURPRISE, we have twins Caleb and Faith. Went from 2 to 4 with one pregnancy. We couldn't have been happier. We love having 4 kids and we love having twins.

When Faith was 3 she got very sick and was in the hospital. The doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. Soon after, she got better and all was great. Then at age 4 she was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. It changed everything for us. We spendt days and weeks in the hospital with her. It affected our whole family.

Now, almost 5 years later, she's happy and healthy. She will always have Crohn's Disease but we've learned a lot of great life lessons during this process. We appreciate the days when she's happy and healthy so much more. And we have so much more compassion for others who are going through the same or anything similar.

I love the The Happiest Daughter video. The message is spot on! Do you have a "Life Lesson" type story? These types of situations always make us remember that we should be Celebrating Good

New York Life is celebrating the good around big Holidays including Mother's Day. What great life lessons have you learned from your mom… or what lessons are you passing on to your kids?
